If you have secured a place in the London Marathon through a charity, running club, or other entry method, you will need to claim your entry online. This guide walks you through the process and provides solutions for common issues.

Steps to Claim Your Entry

1. Receive Your Entry Email

  • If you have a ballot or Good For Age entry, you will receive an email from the London Marathon organisers with a link to claim your place.

  • If you have a charity or club place, you will receive an email from your charity or club, not the London Marathon organisers. If you have any questions, contact your charity or club directly.

  • If you haven’t received your entry email, check your spam/junk folder.

2. Click the Link and Enter Your Details

  • To claim your London Marathon entry, open the email and click on the claim entry link.

  • You must enter the same email address that was used for your entry registration.

3. Verify Your Entry

  • To verify your entry, follow the on-screen instructions and confirm your identity.

  • Ensure all your details are correct and accept the event terms and conditions.

4. Complete Your Registration

  • To complete your registration, pay any required entry fees if applicable.

  • Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a final confirmation email.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting

  • I haven’t received my entry email. If you haven’t received your entry email, check your spam/junk folder. If you have a charity or club place, contact your charity or club, as they are responsible for sending your entry email.

  • I get an error saying my email isn’t recognized. If you get an error saying your email isn’t recognized, ensure you are using the same email that was provided during registration. Double-check for spaces or typos.

  • I get a ‘Load Failed’ or ‘Error Load Failed’ message. If you receive a ‘Load Failed’ or ‘Error Load Failed’ message, it may be due to:

    • A poor internet connection – try switching networks or using a desktop computer.

    • A VPN blocking access – disable your VPN and try again.

    • Browser issues – clear your cache or try a different browser.

  • I think I have already claimed my entry but I’m unsure. If you are unsure whether you have already claimed your entry, check your Let's Do This profile or contact the event organisers for confirmation.
