Can I transfer my entry myself?

Some organisers will allow you to complete transfers on your own using our self-serve “Manage your booking” feature. Via this feature, you may have the option to: transfer your entry to another event, transfer your entry to credit with the same organiser to use on a future event, transfer to a new distance at the same event, or transfer your entry to someone else


To access this feature click the Edit your booking link in your confirmation email, or click on the event you’d like to change via your Let’s Do This account home page and:

  1. Select “Manage” next to the entry you want to change
  2. Select “Transfer your entry”




You will be presented with two options:

  • “Transfer to another event” - use this for race transfers, race credit, or distance changes
  • “Transfer to another person” - use this to transfer your entry to someone else



If you have chosen to transfer your entry to a friend, they will receive an email with instructions on how to claim the booking and enter their information. Please note that the transfer is not complete until they do this.


If you have chosen to transfer your entry to a new event, or transfer your entry to credit, your Let’s Do This account will now have credit linked to it. You should receive an email with instructions on how to complete your transfer. If you’d prefer not to create an account or haven’t received the email, the credit is linked to your email address so you can place a booking for the new event and once you enter your email address you’ll see that the credit has been applied before you complete the booking.

Please note that all transfers are subject to the organiser’s terms and conditions and not all organisers use the manage bookings feature so this may not be available to you. If the options to transfer are greyed out this means that the organiser has not enabled this feature, or you are outside of their T&Cs for transferring.
