Registration & Confirmation

How do I know if I'm registered?

You'll receive a confirmation email after completing your registration. You can also check your registration by signing in to your Let's Do This account.

If you can't find your registration or need help confirming your entry, contact info@eugenemarathon.com.

When does registration close?

Race distances remain open until the Expo unless they sell out earlier.

Availability can change, so we recommend registering early. In 2026, all race distances sold out in January.

Race Packet

Do I have to pick up my race packet?

Yes. Race packet pickup is mandatory and there is no race packet postage available. Your packet includes your race bib, timing tag, safety pins, and a gear-check tag for Sunday races.

You must wear your assigned bib on race day to participate and receive an official race time.

What do I need to bring to packet pickup and where is it?

Race packets will be available for pick-up at the Health & Wellness Expo. Click here for hours, address, and details. (See the Eugene 5K presented by OCCU & Kids Duck Dash presented by OCCU webpages for specific packet pick-up instructions for those races held on Saturday).

To collect, you will need to bring:

  • A valid photo ID

  • Your registration QR code, either on your phone or printed

Your QR code will also be resent during race week to make it easier to find.

Can someone else pick up my race packet?

Yes. Someone else can collect your packet for you. They'll need:

  • A copy of your registration email containing your QR code

  • Your full registered name

  • Your registered email address

Can I pick up my packet on race morning?

Yes, but only if you pre-purchase Race Morning Packet Pickup. The service costs $15 and is available on Sunday morning from 5:30–6:15 AM at Finisher Field, just west of Hayward Field.

The deadline to purchase race-morning pickup is April 23. The fee is non-refundable, including if you later collect your packet at the Expo, defer your entry, or don't attend the race.

Race Day

What is the marathon time limit?

The Eugene Marathon has a 7-hour time limit.

To stay within the course time limit, you need to maintain approximately a 16-minute-per-mile pace. After the course closes, traffic protection and aid stations will shut down and race officials will sweep the course.

What is the half marathon time limit?

The Half Marathon has a 3.5-hour course limit, which requires approximately a 16-minute-per-mile pace.

After 3.5 hours, traffic protection and aid stations close. The finish line remains open for up to 7 hours for marathon participants, so half marathon participants may still cross the finish line and receive a medal during that period.

Are there pace groups?

Yes. Pace groups are available for both the marathon and half marathon.

  • Marathon pace groups range from 2:55 to 6:00, plus a Sweeper group.

  • Half marathon pace groups range from 1:30 to 3:00, plus a Sweeper group.

Pace groups are based on Boston Marathon qualifying times.

Is the Eugene Marathon a Boston Qualifier?

Yes. The Eugene Marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston qualifying course. The certification number is OR23017JH.

  • Bananas at miles 14 and 22

  • GU Energy Gels at miles 8, 20 and 25

Portable restrooms and medical support are also available along the course.

Can I use my own hydration or fuel?

Yes. You can bring fuel with you, including items carried in a hydration vest or in your pockets. Because the course is USATF certified, participants should only take fuel from official aid stations or use fuel they started the race with.

Are headphones allowed?

Yes. Personal listening devices are allowed as long as you can still hear volunteers, race officials, and nearby participants.

Headphones or other devices must only be audible to the person wearing them.

Yes. Your official race bib must be worn during the race.

Your bib is required to:
