Payment plans allow you to split your event entry fee into multiple payments instead of paying the full amount upfront. This guide explains how payment plans work, what to expect, and how to manage your payments.

How Payment Plans Work

  • Payment plans are automated installment payments processed through Let's Do This.

  • When you select a payment plan at checkout, the first payment is taken immediately, and the remaining payments are scheduled automatically.

  • Payment plans are 0% interest, so you will not pay any additional fees for using this option.

  • You will receive an email confirmation after signing up, along with upcoming payment reminders.

  • Payments are deducted from your chosen payment method on the scheduled dates.

How Do Discount Codes Work with Payment Plans?

  • A discount code will be split across each installment.

  • Example: If you have a £20 ticket spread over 4 installments (i.e., 4 x installments of £5) and apply a 20% discount code (i.e., £4 off), you will pay 4 x installments of £4.

What Happens After You Sign Up?

  1. Confirmation Email: After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with details of your payment plan.

  2. Payment Schedule: Your payment dates are set at checkout and will be processed automatically.

  3. Upcoming Payment Reminder: You will receive an email reminder 7 days before each upcoming payment.

Managing Your Payment Details

You can update your payment method at any time by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Manage Booking page.

  2. Locate your payment plan details.

  3. Click on the link to the payment portal.

  4. Update your payment method (e.g., add a new card or change your billing details).

Can I Pay Off My Balance Early?

  • No, participants cannot pay off the remainder of their balance at any time.

  • Payments will be deducted automatically based on the agreed installment schedule.

What Happens If You Miss a Payment?

  • If a payment fails, Let's Do This will automatically retry up to three times over a 7-day period.

  • If all retries fail, your event booking will be automatically canceled.

  • You will need to contact the event organizer to discuss your options if your plan is canceled.

Can I Cancel My Payment Plan?

  • Yes, participants can cancel their payment plan (and their booking) via the Manage Booking page.

What Happens to the Payments I Have Already Made?

  • Refunds are at the discretion of the event organizer.

  • Payments are generally non-refundable, but you should check the event’s terms and conditions.

  • In some cases, the organizer may offer a discounted entry for a future event.
