Can I Transfer My Ticket?
Whether or not you can transfer depends on the event organizer's policies. Here's how to find out:
Go to your "Manage Booking" page: If you are logged in, you can find your booking by visiting your profile. If you are not logged, you can find your registration using your Booking Reference. You can find your booking reference in your confirmation email.
Look for the "Transfer" option: If it's available, you can proceed. If it's grayed out, transfers aren't possible for that event or your specific ticket type.
Why Might Transfers Not Be Unavailable?
Not all entries allow transfers. There are a few reasons why the transfer option might be disabled:
The event organizer doesn't allow transfers.
The transfer deadline has passed.
The races you can transfer to are sold out or registration has closed.
You're still paying off your ticket through a payment plan.
You received your entry for free (e.g., from a charity or as a promotion).
Your ticket includes multiple entries.
You bought a charity/fundraising, ballot, team, or application ticket.

How to Transfer Your Ticket
If transfers are allowed, here are the steps:
Access "Manage Booking" and Select "Transfer": (See instructions above on how to get to your Manage Booking page.)
Choose Your New Race, Event, or Distance: You'll see a list of available events or distances you can transfer to. After you select an event, you'll see the available tickets.
Complete the Transfer:
The price of your original ticket (including the booking fee) will be automatically applied as a discount to your new ticket.
Any applicable admin fees set by the event organizer will be added on top of this discounted price.
If your new ticket is cheaper, you won't receive a refund for the difference.
If you purchased add-ons with your original ticket (e.g., merchandise), they will be canceled without a refund. Contact the event organizer for their specific policies regarding add-ons.
Complete the booking form for your new race.
Important Notes About Transfers
Deadlines: Every event organizer sets their own transfer deadline. Make sure to complete your transfer process well before this date.
Fees: You might have to pay an admin fee to the event organizer. This will be clearly shown during the transfer process. Let's Do This does not charge booking fees for transfers unless you transfer to a more expensive ticket.
Cancellation: Your original ticket is only canceled after you've successfully booked your new race and received a confirmation email for the new event.
BTF/USAT Passes: These are event-specific and can't be transferred. You'll need to buy a new pass for your new event if it's required. If you have an annual membership, simply enter your membership number when registering for your new event.
Ticket Refund Protect, Memberships, and Donations: These items are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the transfer deadline? This is set by the event organizer. You must complete your transfer before this date.
Will my original entry be canceled immediately? No, your original booking will only be canceled after you have successfully purchased your new ticket and received a confirmation email.
What about booking fees? We do not charge booking fees on a transfer unless you transfer to a more expensive ticket. The original booking fee will be discounted along with the cost of your original race entry.
What happens if I purchased add-ons? All add-ons will be canceled without a refund. Contact the event organizer to find out their policies on this.
What happens if I purchased Ticket Protect, a membership, or made a donation? These cannot, unfortunately, be refunded or transferred to your new race or event.
What happens if I purchased a BTF or USAT pass? These are specific to the race and event you are attending, so we cannot transfer these to a new event. You will have to buy a new pass when you enter your new event. If you have a yearly membership, simply enter your membership number when you register for your new event.
