How to Defer Your Event Entry

We understand that plans can change, and you may need to defer your entry to a future event. Follow the steps below to see if deferral is an option for your event and how to proceed.

Step 1) Go to your "Manage Booking" page

If you are logged in, you can find your booking by visiting your profile. If you are not logged, you can find your registration using your Booking Reference. You can find your booking reference in your confirmation email.

Step 2) Check if Your Entry is Eligible for Self-Serve Deferrals

Look for an option to defer your entry. If deferrals are enabled, you’ll see a button to defer your entry. Follow the prompts to complete the process.

If your event organizer has not enabled deferrals on Let's Do This, is unable to process this request for you.

For your entry, if deferrals are not available you must contact your event organizer to discuss your situation. Let's Do This is unable to process these requests.

3) Contact Your Event Organizer

If you don’t see an option to defer your entry on the Manage Booking page, it means the event organizer has not enabled deferrals for this event.

In this case, you’ll need to contact the event organizer directly.

  • Send them a message explaining your request to defer your entry. Be sure to include your full name, email address, and booking reference for a quicker response.

Please note, the decision to allow deferrals is at the discretion of the event organizer, and some events may not offer this option.
